Students in grades 6-12 will explore hand tools and learn how to use a drill, saw, hammer, planes, and screw drivers, in addition to learning basic math and measuring. This class will focus on the fundamentals of basic hand tool use and the skills and principles of safety through hands-on projects.

Each student will build a birdhouse, a basic shelf, and a tool box to take home with them. The projects will use a combination of pre-made parts as well as made-to-fit parts created in class.
